Norwegian Flashcards — Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 22, 2026

Norwegian Flashcards (formerly Norsk Cards) is a Norwegian vocabulary flashcard app.

Data collection

Your study progress and settings are stored only on your device. The app has no accounts and never asks who you are.

Anonymous usage analytics

The app sends anonymous, first-party usage analytics so we can see how the app is used and fix what does not work. This covers which screens are opened, the steps of the subscription screen (viewing it, tapping subscribe, and whether the purchase succeeded, was cancelled, is pending or failed), app open, background and foreground events, a periodic heartbeat while the app is open, and the app version, platform and build type.

• No account, name, email, device identifier or advertising identifier is collected.
• Each launch of the app uses a new random session id that is never stored on your device, so sessions cannot be linked to each other or to you.
• The data is not linked to your identity, is not used for tracking, and is not shared with or sold to anyone.
• Events are sent over HTTPS to yourtechresume.com, a server operated by the same developer as this app, not a third party. Your IP address is used only to derive a country and to filter out test traffic; it is not stored.
• Analytics events are kept for 45 days and then deleted.

Subscriptions

The Norwegian Flashcards Pro subscription is processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see your payment details. Manage or cancel it in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions.
